METHODS: What Works for You

Methods is a program of the Statewide HIPAZ program, this program targets Individuals living with HIV who have sexual and injection drug use risk for transmitting HIV.  This program works exclusively with individuals living with HIV regardless of age (over 18), gender and race, on a 1:1 basis, using the principals of Prevention Case Management to guide the individual through assessment and treatment planning.

This is a confidential program that works with individual who are actively participating in high risk behaviors and allows a structured outlet for working on identified areas with the feared consequences as associated with other services.  For example an individual may not talk with case manager about their current drug use with the fear they may be removed from services like housing.

This program offers the confidentiality and structure to allow individuals to obtain goals and reduce the risk of transmitting HIV.  This program is not Ryan White Case Management and is not designed to deal with issues around housing, food boxes, and financial needs.
