Child Watch

Child Watch is a free service for parents or guardians who are HIV positive and are accessing HIV services for themselves or their children.  Child Watch is vital as it removes a barrier to care and allows privacy during appointments.

  • Logan’s Playground –Logan’s Playground (LP) was founded in 2000 in honor of Logan Shaver who was the first pediatric patient in clinical trials at Body Positive (BP). Logan lost his battle with AIDS at the age of six in 1999.  In 2004, LP merged with BP and the child watch program that was started for BP in 1997 became Logan’s Playground. Child Watch provides free child watch services, 8a – 5p Monday through Friday, while clients attend HIV related appointments.

Call the Child Watch Service Center at (602) 307-5330 ext. 2255
