Our HIV+ clients often have questions and concerns about the medications they are taking or are considering taking. The various classifications of HIV drugs, their side effects and interactions can be confusing and complicated even for the most medication-savvy person. Luckily, Body Positive and Walgreens Specialty Pharmacies work together to provide answers to the questions so many HIV+ people have. By appointment or just walking in, HIV+ adults can meet privately with a Walgreens HIV specialty pharmacist. The pharmacist can provide answers to questions about drug interactions, managing side effects of medication, adhering to medication therapy and how medications work. To schedule an appointment with an HIV specialty pharmacist, contact Body Positive’s Front Office department and ask to speak with a Scheduler. Body Positive
